7 Earn Your Shirt Program
We are asking all Phantom wrestlers to fulfill minimum requirements to EARN their team shirt this year. They are: Sign in for attendance to four practices to earn their shirt team shirt right away, likely December 28th Otherwise wrestlers will receive their team shirt when the four practice requirement is met Those kids that attend the first four practices will also get a bonus with their team shirt, their last name printed on the back as a reward for their attendance commitment for the first two weeks

8 Expectations of Wrestlers
HAVE FUN! Finish what you start – never quit Be on time of practices – at least 10 min. early Treat coaches and wrestlers with respect Show GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP! No throwing of headgear Shake hands with opponent before and after match Shake hands with other wresters coach after match

9 Expectations of Parents:
All wrestlers need to have CLEAN t-shirt and shorts for each practice – (NO jewelry, cut offs, jeans, or clothing with zippers) All wrestlers must have athletic shoes that are only worn on wrestling mats. Wrestling shoes not required Please instruct your child go directly to the wrestling room! Kids wandering the building is not allowed! Parents are encouraged to stay and watch practice, but please try and let the coaches do the coaching Please pick up your child in front of the school Please volunteer and support our fundraisers when we ask, we cannot run this program without that.

10 As a parent, you can help us in our mission by:
1. Making sure they are at every practice possible. 2. Making sure that they are at practice on time. At least 10 minutes early. 3. Making sure they have the necessary equipment each practice. 4. Making sure they practice good hygiene, have plenty of rest and a healthy diet. 5. Making sure they participate in the duals and tournaments we wrestle in. 6. Being there to watch and cheer on your child at tournaments and duals. 7. Volunteering to help out at duals in concessions and/or working tables, as well as supplying baked goods and/or fruit for the Cheesehead. 8. Encouraging your child to work hard -- before, during and after our program ends. 9. Encourage your child that, win or lose, they did a good job. Our goal is to develop athletes that love the sport of wrestling. 10. Being positive with them -- never critical.

11 The Coaches Challenge Program
We encourage more advanced individual training, like Fox Valley Elite which is available for an additional fee We invite those wrestlers that want to compete at the highest levels of youth wrestling to sign up for our Phantom’s Top Notch program when the season concludes. Otherwise, we will focus on developing ALL wrestlers to love the sport of wrestling We want Parents & Wrestlers to know what skills to work on We try to Highlight Techniques, Fitness and Attitude in our practices We work very hard to match wrestler skills for competition events (Practices, Duals and Tournaments) While we will sometimes split practice to teach in different ways to smaller groups, we are one team of Phantoms!.
