27 GRADES You will be graded according to the 4 Colorado Standards:
Reading Writing Listening Speaking

28 Grades 60% of your grade will be made up of learning experiences. Example: Assignments, group work, quizzes etc. 40% of your grade will be made up of evidence such as presentations, tests, quizzes etc.

29 Recap of daily expectations:
Everyday, when you come in, please: Sit down quietly and start working IMMEDIATELY. It allows me to take a quick attendance. Everyday, a warm up and agenda will be on the board. Read it, copy it in your notebook (5 points per day!) and start working. When doing warm up, do not interrupt teacher. Raise your hand and WAIT SILENTLY until she comes and helps you. When done, wait quietly (Voice Level 0) until teacher gives you her attention.

30 Homework: Please bring the following school supplies by Friday, August 26th (Please note in your planner, take picture or write it down somewhere) A binder with 5 dividers. Loose leaf paper in your binder A dry erase marker to turn in (black or blue preferable) Pencil and pen One box of kleenex or one container of disinfecting wipes I really want you to be successful and it means you must bring your material to class, every day.
