18 USE OF Kia BOOKS We expect that the new training approaches developed will have a positive effect on health worker performance. Still, to justify allocating resources to these approaches, I think it will be important for field-tests to measure trainee performance immediately after training and again at the health facility. This will help to: build the evidence or justification for a new training approach, and identify changes in performance over time (and in some cases between different settings) Surabaya, 26 Agustus 2017
