3. Configuration & Options Guide – COG
This tool will help with System x product configuration, with understanding what are the compatible options for System x products and with any special configuration rules. The COG is available in HTML and a PDF version.

4. System x Reference – xREF
This document (simply known as xREF) is a quick reference guide to the specifications of the currently available models of each System x and BladeCenter server. Each page can be used in a stand-alone format and provides a dense and comprehensive summary of the features of that particular server model. Links to the related Product Guide are also provided for more information.
Also available is xREF that contains System x, BladeCenter, and xSeries servers, and IntelliStation workstations that were withdrawn from marketing prior to 2012.

5. ServerProven Program
The ServerProven® program validates selected products for compatibility with System x®, BladeCenter® and Flex System servers. Through the ServerProven Program, Lenovo works with industry leaders to test their equipment with ours. We recognize that you deserve the most innovative solutions...even if they're not all from Lenovo.
ServerProven provides compatibility information only. Hardware configuration guidance can be obtained from the Configuration and Options Guide.

6. Lenovo Press Product Guides – x3650 M5
Lenovo Press Product Guides are available for System x, Storage, Options and Network offerings.
This product guide provides essential pre-sales information to understand the structure of the System x3650 M5 offering, its key features and specifications, components and options, and configuration guidelines.
This guide is intended for technical specialists, sales specialists, sales engineers, IT architects, and other IT professionals who want to learn more about the System x3650 M5 and consider its use in IT solutions.

7. System x Power Configurator
Use the Power Configurator to obtain three groups of environmental information from uniquely configured systems. These include idle, maximum and load factor power consumptions. Scale the load factor of your configuration from 0-100% utilization for an accurate understanding of your environmental requirements.
Use the Power Configurator tool to help determine the best fit PSU capacity to install in your server. Also use the tool to help determine the power capacity requirements for PDU and UPS installations.

9. System x and Cluster Solutions Configurator – x-config
This tool is intended for Lenovo Sales teams and authorized Lenovo Business Partners, is a full-function, globally available, proposal and configuration tool with options to configure solutions.
x-config allows users to:
Translate user designs into configurations that can be priced, ordered, and built
Configure multiple product lines in a single tool
View system diagrams to review expansion options, explore configuration alternatives and validate solution level characteristics
View list prices as the configuration is being constructed
Collapse like systems in readable outputs

10. Standalone Solutions Configuration Tool – SSCT
This tool is a standalone (offline) software application with technical guidelines incorporated in its database which has been developed to aid Lenovo sales and business partners and to facilitate technical collaborations in configuring System x systems and rack cabinets. The application is designed to support an interactive interface with graphics for determining the price, ideal environment, available rack cabinet space and available resources along with other operations associated with ordering and configuring a simple to complex solution. The application is also capable of saving or exporting configured solutions in several different formats, with the save format of TP3.

11. Data Center Advisor & Configurator Tool – DCACT (aka LESC)
Data Center Advisor & Configurator Tool (DCACT) is a Web-based sales configurator tool used in AG (Americas), AP, EMEA & PRC for simple to complex nested CTO (Configure to Order) solutions & MTM +Options (Preconfigured Models) solutions. Also, it is used to create custom & dynamic CTO models.
There are two Web-based versions of DCACT Online, one integrated into CRM (Lenovo inside sales) and one non-integrated for Lenovo field sales & Business Partner sellers.
People still refer to the DCACT as the LESC, Lenovo Enterprise Solutions Configurator.

12. Pre-Sales Advisor Tool – PSAT
Lenovo Pre-Sales Advisor is a unified configuration tool available to Lenovo partners and customers, which offers the ability to view, configure and obtain a price for ThinkServer and System x products.
Easy-To-Use Interface - The intuitive interface means that you can start utilizing the system immediately after creating an account.
Guaranteed Compatibility - Users are only able to select compatible upgrades when creating a configuration. This means that the user does not require prior knowledge of building systems or of the Lenovo products, but can still confidently put together a solution which is guaranteed to be fit for purpose.

13. System x PDU Technical Reference – International
This guide is sectioned up by PDU types (non-Monitored, Monitored, and Switched and Monitored PDUs).
To help determine the type of PDU required, refer to the PDU types explained section which discusses the differences between these type of PDUs.
Once the type is selected, refer to the individual sections on Basic PDUs, Monitored PDUs, and Monitored and Switched PDUs for additional information and options available.

The Lenovo Server Operating System Interoperability Guide (OSIG) is a comprehensive source of information about operating system compatibility with Lenovo servers. It includes servers in the System x, ThinkServer, NeXtScale, Flex System and BladeCenter product families and covers servers that are currently supported by Lenovo under warranty.
