Things to expect this year… English I
Novel every 6 weeks (SSR, book club, etc.) World Literature: The Odyssey, Of Mice and Men Writing in a variety of genres Pop Quizzes- Study every night! Take Home Reading Assignments—your kids should be reading at home a lot!

Things to expect this year… Algebra and Geometry
After-school Tutorials on Tuesdays and Thursdays From 3:15- 4:15pm Testing Policy- The policy states… “If you fail a test (below a 70), you have the opportunity for a retake within a week after receiving your results. He/She must attend a tutorial before they re-test. The highest grade for a retake is a 70. The student keeps the higher grade between the original grade and the retake grade.
