5 Speaker Bio’s STUART G. HOFFMAN is senior vice president and chief economist for The PNC Financial Services Group serving as the principal spokesperson on all economic issues for PNC. Mr. Hoffman has been recognized as one of the most accurate economic and interest rate forecasters in the prestigious Wall Street Journal economic survey covering the 1988 to 2014 period. Mr. Hoffman joined PNC in 1980 after a six-year tenure with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He became vice president and senior economist for PNC in 1987 and was elected senior vice president and chief economist in He is frequently quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times and Barron’s. He is a regular guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV. In addition, he is regularly interviewed by the Associated Press and Reuter’s news wire services and NPR. DENNIS UNKOVIC is a partner with the law firm of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP. He is actively involved in negotiating complex commercial transactions such as international mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and joint ventures; restructuring entities to enhance effectiveness; and advising on inbound and outbound foreign investment projects. Mr. Unkovic works closely with U.S. companies as well as foreign entities on their international activities and investments. He has traveled to 64 countries over the last thirty years, with significant involvement in transactions in China, India, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Mr. Unkovic is frequently invited to brief business executives, trade associations, and government and academic leaders on current issues. He has authored eight books and over 175 articles for domestic and international publications. His most recent book, Face: How Saving Face Changes Everything, was published as an Amazon Kindle Single in August Mr. Unkovic is currently Chairman of the Meritas® legal network, comprised of 7,400 lawyers in 240 cities globally.
