Instructions for Safety Shifters are prepared, see RPE Reporting: Report will be sent at the end of the day by the safety shifter to the e-group

Activities Risk Assessment
Follow up of activities via IMPACTs and OPM meeting presentation with a stronger supervision for activities with: -> Work at height -> Close to the beam pipe -> Fire permit Gradual implementation of new format of PPSPS towards Risk Assessment - focus more on safety aspects - avoid redundancy with information mentioned in IMPACT Ex: Raphael activity (example), Micromega (TS2), Survey activities

Review of the evacuation paths in UX15 Panels indicating assembly point at SY (batching) Review of the Level 3 procedure – Emergency Status page Preparation meetings with different CERN services involved in the ?? Will provide general emergency instructions during OPM meeting Organize the training of Emergency guides 2x see below Expected date for exercise: Beginning of February – before school winter holydays Currently – 5 Emergency guides at ATLAS Didier BERTHET Louis DULCINA Christian LEBOUBE Cedric SORDE Frédéric ROSSET Need of Emergency Guides to be trained in January (2 sessions – French and English) most probably people often present in the caverns: Safety shifters

New safety training – ATLAS Underground guides: Theory Visit preparation Safety rules before the visits Guiding a visit - Safety procedure and in? emergency situations Pratical Walk via the visit path with handling of the different access systems and explanation of the evacuation paths according to the emergency situations Managed via Safety training, ATLAS secretariat and ATLAS Safety Courses: 2 sessions performed during TS3 8 sessions foreseen at the beginning of the EYETS Refresher course automatically every … First aiders

Activities Cleaning Trench
Regular cleaning of the trench by company will be scheduled as soon as needed Toroid At the end of the EYETS Improvements Adaptation the cleaning area description using the patrol drawings Order gloves adapted (no plastic cloves) More vacuum cleaners to avoid them to break and to carry the dust collected by the first teams -> discussed with RP Exchange vacuum cleaner after first day (every half day?) to avoid … HS/HO Company
