Prayer is important at all times.
Pray continually – 1 Thessalonians 5:16.
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests – Eph. 6:18.
Hezekiah “spread it out before the Lord” – Kings 19:14.
Prayer strengthens us – Luke 22:43. 8

Jesus prays for the same thing over and over in this passage.
Paul prays 3x to remove “the thorn in his flesh” – 2 Corinthians 12:7-9. 10
