TechIT: A Work Order System Team Members: Marjorie Zalaya, Duc Le, Kevin Castillo, Minh Ha, Brandon Ung Faculty Advisor: Dr. Chengyu Sun ECST Liaison: Michael Dray Department of Computer Science College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology California State University, Los Angeles Have students check that the logo is the appropriate one to use. Overview: TechIT is a work order system that helps users, technicians, and supervisors keep track of their work orders. This system provides a way for regular users with a CSULA account to submit work orders, called “tickets” to the system. The technicians are able to view and update tickets submitted online. Supervisor functionalities include denying tickets not under their jurisdiction and setting priority levels to each ticket. This provides a helpful filtering tool for the determining important work. The system cab be accessed using a web browser or an Android app. Functionalities on the phone are the same as it is on the web application. System 1 Personal settings included to change contact information or logging out. Users can submit a ticket using this button. Login Page Leads into the details page. Editing and accepting tickets is done in the details page. Other options are available for other user-types. Ticket summary and update fields are found in this page. Ticket Creation Page The ticket is done once it is marked for “COMPLETED.” All parties will be notified via . Technicians and Supervisors can view the tickets on the mobile device. This provides a fast and convenient way of updating their progress. System administrators are able to handle all user accounts and create new ones. They are also able to view and create Units in the system.
