Projects TUBITAK ARDEB 1001 – Development of methods and systems for electroencephalographic brain computer interfaces (2014-ongoing, last year) A SEMG robotic hand prosthetic – currently a student project at IEU dept of computer engineering, potentially a future TUBITAK project (in progress) Statistical modeling and inference from large-scale neural activity data (calcium imaging) for neural populations in the brain (USA, ) Image processing and analysis for an anatomical connectomics project (USA, )

Project Idea / Contribution Fields
Proposed project: A Center for Advanced Prosthetics in Izmir will pursue research and development in biomedical robotics and neurally controlled robotic prosthetic and assistive technologies on Izmir and Turkey-scale. Will combine researcher in neural interfaces, neural prosthetics, robotics, software and electrical-electronics engineering with orthopedics and rehabilitation medicine department to achieve integration of necessary expertise. List of the fields I can participate and offer expertise in: biomedical signal processing including conventional imaging and EEG, ECG, EMG time-series; biomedical data modeling and analysis; biostatistics; smart medical systems (software)
