Overview of UDOL University of Derby established in 1851 as a teacher training college. University of Derby offered distance learning since 2001. UDOL established in 2011 as its specialist centre for distance learning programmes. Pedagogy underpinned by research. Taught students from over 100 countries at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Distance learning specific courses. Distance learning specialist tutors and support staff.
