Health Education England (HEE): Education on Genomic Medicine
Workforce development in Genomic Medicine: specialist genetics, pathology and specialist clinical workforce Specialized scientific training: fellowships funded over 3/5 years: Molecular Pathology including Infections and Pathogens Genetics / genomics Bioinformatics MSc in Genomic Medicine CPD access to MSc modules for specialist practitioners Specialist on-line learning Bioinformatics workshops Individual programme fees will be funded by Health Education England for NHS staff who enrol on either the full-time or part-time Master’s or for those taking individual modules for CPPD.

• MSc Full-time: all core modules and one additional optional module to a total of 180 credits – Students must take module 8 as a 60 credit dissertation • Msc Part-time: all core modules and 3 optional modules; this is inclusive of a 30 credit literature review (Module 8, 30 Credits) • PgCert: core modules 1 and 7, plus two additional modules = 60 credits • PgDip: core modules 1, and 7, + either 6 additional core or optional modules each worth 15 credits, or 4 additional core or optional modules each worth 15 credits and the 30 credit research project, = 120 credits
