Shown on the right is an example of what a standards-based report card may look like. The standards are organized by subject. You’ll learn how to organize the standards so that you can present them in a report card format.
For the people new to standards, point out the hierarchical structure of the standards, and assure them that this will be discussed in-depth later in the course.]

26. Standards in a Spreadsheet
[Trainer note: Explain that the spreadsheet for importing standards must contain columns for all of the necessary fields that make up a standard. The easiest way to create the spreadsheet is to export the standards that you have created already. By exporting first, the fields’ names will match exactly, and it will save time when importing the data back into PowerSchool. Also, make sure the spreadsheet is saved as a text (.txt) file.]
