AGM – Registration Report – Robyn Edwards/Michelle Hastie
All registration fees where paid in full last season. A $50 late registration fee will continue to be imposed for any returning player who has not registered and paid their fees by July 1, Players will not be allowed on the ice until full registration fees have been paid. Online Registration Online registration will continue for the upcoming returning player registration – Registration opened for returning players in April New player registration was May 15th and will continue to be accepted Robyn Edwards will not be returning as registrar, however this past year was greatly appreciated! A Huge thank you to her for all her help this past season!

AGM – Risk Management Report
Criminal record checks for all team officials completed. Established practice of having team official perform player equipment check. Required to ensure that insurance coverage from Hockey Canada will be available if a player is injured.

Tournament Report (cont.)
2014 – 2015 was our fifth season of running tournaments in four divisions. ATOM division hosted 12 Atom C teams October th 2014 They collected a profit of $3,615. PEEWEE division hosted 12 Peewee C teams November 8 – 10th at our annual Coleton Nelson Memorial Tournament They collected a profit of $4,544. Our ATOM and PEEWEE REP teams hosted 12 teams January 2 – 4th This was our first REP only tournament to date. They collected a profit of $5,229. INITIATION hosted 16 H2, H3 and H4 teams February 7th – 9th 2015 As always, our most profitable tournament collecting $10,287. Congratulations to the tournament committee on a very successful tournament. In all the 2014 – 2015 tournaments procured a net profit of $23,675. This was made possible through the efforts of all those who volunteered and filled a role on the tournament committee(s)! A huge thank you to all who volunteered!! Thank you all for the friendships and memories shared over the years. I know AMHA tournaments will continue to be successful, celebrated events to be enjoyed by all!

Congratulations to the tournament committee on a very successful tournament. In all the 2014 – 2015 tournaments procured a net profit of $23,675. This was made possible through the efforts of all those who volunteered and filled a role on the tournament committee(s)! A huge thank you to all who volunteered!! Thank you all for the friendships and memories shared over the years. I know AMHA tournaments will continue to be successful, celebrated events to be enjoyed by all!

AGM – Equipment Update Jay Kyle – Equipment Manager
Purchased 126 new jerseys (4 sets + singles) - $5,985.00 Portion of the above replacement jersey’s are (revenue neutral) Completing our long term plan for all teams to have the same style of home and away jerseys Purchased $4, in socks which (revenue neutral) Assisted our AMHA teams this year by providing A’s & C’s ($150) Purchased new First Aid kits for all teams in our association ($500). Purchased new game pucks for all teams. We are in very good position regarding equipment and supplies. I would recommend purchasing 2 new sets of jerseys next year to maintain our long term plan. PLEASE be sure that ALL TEAM uniforms and equipment is returned to your lockers in the equipment room on or before MAY 15th to AVOID uniform cheques having to be re-issued next season. We will not be chasing people for outstanding uniforms this year.

AGM – Initiation Program H1/H2 (Coordinator Ben White)
Hockey 1 – 1 Team, 18 Players Coach: Paul Meyer No games, development only Timbits Jamboree Game Average 2-3 ice times a week Hockey 2 – 2 Teams, 24 Players Head Coaches: Jay Petursson, Brian Brunoro Both teams were competitive in league and tournament play with surrounding associations Good Season for both divisions

H3 - 2 teams (20 Players) Head Coaches: Mark DePedrina and Mike Lewis Both teams competitive all season in league and tournaments H4 -2 teams (25 Players) Head Coaches: Len Kawamoto and Ben White Good year for divisions. Extra ice helped development

AGM – Atom Division (Coordinator Tim James)
Aldergrove Atom A1 Coach: Shane Sumners Overall record , Moved to Flight 2 and competed well Won an Atom A tournament in Seattle Won PCAHA Team Achievement Award annually given to recognize the team in each division and category best demonstrating the attributes of sportsmanlike behavior, fair play both on and off the ice, and cooperation with league officials. Only team to win games against Langley A2 in league or playoffs Successful season with players showing great improvement in both individual and team skills Aldergrove Atom C Coach: Mike Grant Overall record Mission tournament lost in semi final, 3rd in Kamloops tournament, 2nd in playoffs by only 1 point Coach Mike’s first year coaching and had great group of players and parents One of the highlights for Mike was a player that could barely stand on skates at the beginning but was scoring goals and skating with confidence by season end. That player is very excited to come back next season.

Aldergrove Atom C2 Wolves Coach: Bob Sitnik Very successful overall record of Won Aldergrove tournament Won Chilliwack tournament Lost by 1 goal in Kelowna tournament semi final 2nd in league play, 2nd in playoffs Coach Bob is very proud of players Aldergrove C3 Storm Coach: Brad Wheeler Very successful overall record of Won Gibsons tournament Won New Westminster tournament 2nd place in Aldergrove tournament (lost to Aldergrove C2) 3rd place in league play (tied for 2nd in pts but 1 less win) 1st place in playoffs-playoff banner winner

AGM – Bantam Division (Coordinator Kevin Hollins)
Aldergrove A1 Coach: Joe Cathcart / George Walter Balancing. Started in flight 6. Went 7-1 with 7 out of 8 sportsmanship points. Regular Season . Moved up to flight 5. Came in 3rd in Flight 5 , finishing getting 19 out of 20 possible sportsmanship points. Ended up in presidents series group 3 finishing 2nd at 3-3 Participated in 2 tournaments. Tough competition. Combined tournament record of 1-7 Although there were many speed bumps and distractions this year, the team stayed united, persevered, and overall, the team was very successful. Aldergrove C Coach: Russ Iwanson Regular season ended with 5-5 record Finished playoffs tied for 2nd at in a tough flight according to coach Russ Played in two out of town tournaments playing 500 hockey. In the words of coach Russ “ We never gave up” and “ Very positive year for the team”

AGM – Bantam Division (Coordinator Kevin Hollins)
Aldergrove C Coach: Brent Carlson Finished 1st in their flight during the regular season going undefeated in with a record Placed in a tough flight along with Aldergrove C1 team finishing 5th. Played in a few tournaments near the end of the year. Finished mid pack in all due to many injuries. Coach was very impressed with the “ drive and determination ” of all his players Overall great season Aldergrove C Coach: Corwin Koch 4th out of 9 teams in regular season with 6-4 record. Placed 6th of 6 teams in playoffs in a very competitive flight where the spread between first and last was only 4 points. Played in 3 tournaments finishing mid pack in all. In the words of coach Corwin, the team was “ Vastly improved” and had a “Very successful year”

AGM – Volunteer Positions
In addition to the elected members of the AMHA executive, AMHA needs additional volunteers to make the program successful. These positions will require varying amounts of time, but will be less of a commitment than being a member of the executive. OPEN POSITIONS – RISK MANAGER, SECRETARY, ICE ALLOCATOR Picture Day Coordinator, Parade Coordinator Members at Large for various duties as they arise

We need to Elect additional members to the executive Encourage those that want to participate to step forward Understand that some of the positions can require significant volunteer hours ( Approx 40hrs/Month). Understand that the executive have to work to better the program for all kids. Not just their own kids. Executive Members are Elected for a two year term.
