Project Aims To enable individual students to easily monitor and benchmark their own performance To enhance information provision to academic staff responsible for supporting students in their academic journey so that targeted and appropriate interventions can be made To develop meaningful insights into the factors affecting the success of all students; particularly those from widening participation backgrounds

Our focus is on success, not risk of failure or drop out ‘Measuring Engagement and Predicting Success’ – a research project that is mining Exeter’s engagement data Focus on academic performance and students’ preparedness for graduate employment

Next Steps Further develop and refine staff and student dashboards
Develop predictive algorithms Work with students to promote the benefits of ELA and to reassure them about ethical practices Develop interventions support that academic staff can use - especially for widening participation students
