11. Medical Assistance Transportation
Medical Assistance (MA) Transportation provides transport to non-emergency medical appointments for eligible residents who have no other means of transportation.
You may be eligible for Medical Assistance Transportation if you: • Have full MA coverage
Have no other transportation available

12. Veteran Services Program
Collaborate with the United States Department of Veteran Affairs, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs and Veterans Service Organizations in securing benefits for Veterans.
Assist Veterans with obtaining their military discharge (DD214).
Help with preparing and submitting compensation/pension claims to the Veterans Benefits Administration.

13. Veteran Services Program
Link veterans to the VA Healthcare system, advocate for veterans and their families and connect veterans to other community agencies, services and providers.
Track claims and assist with additional development requests made by the Veterans Benefits Administration.
Assist with denied claims by filing Notices of Disagreement or filing Appeals to reverse the negative decision

14. Veteran Assistance Program
In FY2017, received a grant from a local foundation to assist Carroll County Veterans with:
Emergency housing
Other emergency needs
Training
Completing shelter intakes for homeless Veterans
Connect Veterans to other community and/or VA resources

15. Veterans Shuttle Transportation Program
The Veteran’s Shuttle provides service to specified Veterans Administration (VA) medical sites. There is no cost to the veteran or his/her personal care assistant for the Shuttle Program.
