Confer with other persons in the area to determine those that will assist in the formation/rejuvenation of a Chapter. Consult with Rixa Oman at the Marriott School. Confer with Regional Global Steering Committee member. Confer with Priesthood Leaders in the area to determine level of support. Confer with local LDS Employment Resource Center/SRS workers to obtain support. Obtain list of Marriott School Alumni and make personal contacts. Set up Chapter Website with assistance from Rixa’s office. Work with BYUMS assistant in Provo to send out blast to local alumni. Confer with other interested persons in your area to determine those that will assist in the formation or rejuvenation a Chapter. Contact local member of the Marriott School National Advisory Council (NAC).

Contact and coordinate with any members of the BYU Alumni Association, the J. Reuben Clark Society or BYU Cougar Club Call a meeting of the interested persons and organize a board of directors. Elect a President and President-Elect. Make invitations for other officers on the Board. Consider invitations to persons to serve as an Advisory Board. Consider means to contact local Priesthood Leaders for support. With Provo’s assistance set up a bank account and chapter by-laws. Make preparations for a first meeting, including: Location Date Speaker Topic for speaker Coordinate with Provo on invitations to the Dean or other faculty that may be in your area.
