College entrance exam (ACT or SAT required for 4-year schools) You can take the SAT multiple times $45.00 ($57 with essay) when taking on own Use your highest score Scholarships often tied to SAT scores Essay will be used for placement at UI If going to junior college, can use scores for placement Parkland is requiring everyone to assess this year
