What
Traineeship or thesis research in a developing country, in cooperation with a host institution in the South.

Bachelor’s or Master’s students from all faculties.
EU-citizens + Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.
Participation in the intercultural preparation day and the session on ‘safety, health and paperwork’
Priority
Students known to the university’s Social Service may be prioritised and may receive a higher grant.
Duration
At least 6 weeks in the Global South
Departure between December 1, 2016 and December 1, 2017
Grant
1,000 EUR for each travel grant student.

Bachelor’s or Master’s students from all faculties. Nationality is not a criterion.
Priority
Students known to the university’s Social Service may be prioritised and may receive a higher grant.
Duration
Minimum 1 month to a maximum of 12 months.
Preferably one semester only!
Grant
650 EUR/month + travel allowance between 180 and 1,100 EUR
A stay longer than 4 months is allowed, however (additional months) = without a scholarship.
Students from underrepresented groups may receive an additional 200 EUR/month
