Sit down meeting with the Fire Chief.
Must pass a Psychological Test
Must pass a Pre-Employment Physical.

6. From Rookie to Chief 2 to 4 Week Dayshift Orientation.
GET YOURSELF MOTIVATED ON DAY ONE !!
2 to 4 Week Dayshift Orientation.
Firefighter II Academy if not Already Certified.
Assigned to a Shift to Work as a Firefighter & Medic if
EMT Certified.
Three Years to be Certified as FF III and EMT-P.
Must be FAE Certified to Operate Fire Apparatus.

7. BE A LEADER!! Start taking F.O. (required for promotion) and
College Classes.
Take Promotional Exams for Lieutenant & Captain.
Promote YOURSELF to Lieutenant, then Captain,
followed by Asst. Chief and then to Fire Chief.
