TYPES OF GRANTS DISTRICT GRANT = < $30,000 BUDGET GLOBAL GRANT = > $30,000 BUDGET

HOW TO’S FOR ALL GRANTS:
TIMING THE GRANT APPLICATION PERIOD FOR BEGINS NOVEMBER 1, MARCH 31, 2018 THE GRANT COMMITTEE REVIEWS THE GRANTS IN APRIL , THE LEADERSHIP TEAM APPROVES. CLUBS ARE NOTIFIED. GLOBAL GRANT APPROVALS CAN THEN BE SUBMITTED ON –LINE FOR RI APPROVAL. DISTRICT GRANTS ARE SUBMITTED TO RI AS A SPENDING PLAN BEGINNING MAY 15, 2018 CLUBS MAY ONLY BEGIN TO WORK ON PROJECTS FOLLOWING DISTRICT/RI NOTIFICATION OF APPROVAL

( IN NOVEMBER /MAY) EACH YEAR CLUB MUST SIGN AN MOU ( MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING)– THERE ARE SEPARATE MOU’S FOR GLOBAL AND DISTRICT GRANTS FORM A 3 PERSON CLUB GRANT COMMITTEE FOR GLOBAL, A 2 PERSON COMMITTEE FOR DISTRICT HAVE A PLAN OF “ACTION” FOR EACH PROJECT BE ABLE TO LOGIN TO THE DISTRICT SITE AND RI SITE– HOW TO DO THAT…
