3. The objectives:
1.Совершенствовать произносительные умения, совершенствовать лексические навыки по теме
« Мой дом».
2. Развивать умения и навыки диалогической устной речи с использованием грамматической структуры there is/ there are.
3. Совершенствовать умения аудирования.

4. Phonetic drill. Repeat after me all together.
Little grey mouse
Where is your house?
I can show you my flat
If you don’t tell the cat.
My flat has no door,
I live under the floor.
I go out in the night
And come back when it’s light.

5. Speech Drill.
There is a mouse on
the floor,
There is a cat behind
the door,
There is a parrot on
the ball,
There is a puppy in
the hall,
I’ll find (найти) them soon,
They all live in my cosy (уютная) room.

7. Now answer my questions, please.
1. Is there a mouse on the floor?
2. Is there a cat or a parrot behind the door?

8. There is/are (есть, имеется, находится)
Обычно стоит в начале предложения,
а переводятся такие предложения
с конца.
e.g. There is a table in my room.
( В моей комнате есть стол.)
There are flowers on the window. (На окне есть цветы.)
Если перечисляется много предметов, то судят по первому существительному.
e.g. There is a bed, two chairs, a TV-set, many flowers in my room.
