3. About the Tools
Tools Available for SPINs and BENs, 470s, 471, Search Commitments, FRN life cycle (DRT and FST)
Available on USAC website, although some tools are in the E-rate Productivity Center (EPC).
Most tools have user guides
Posted information is delayed by a day (posted in EPC today, appears in USAC tools tomorrow)
Service providers that bring their laptops can follow along when we demo the tools online.

4. Tools for SPINs and BENs
Service Provider Download tool
Search by full or partial name, SPIN, status (active or closed), city, state, ZIP code
Eight fields returned in an HTML table, with Excel download option
SPIN is an active link to summary information for that service provider, with Excel download option
Entity Download tool
Search by state only
Report opens in Excel
Two tabs – Entities and Annexes

Limit search by posting dates (limited to 30-day range)
Can limit by one, some, or all: applicant type, state, service type
Export results as HTML or XLS
HTML shows up at bottom of page
XLS shows up as a separate file
Results contain active links to FCC Form 470 and all associated RFP documents, even those posted after FCC Form 470 is certified

Limit search by posting dates, applicant type(s), applicant state(s), service type(s)
For HTML and CSV formats, specify detail report, consultant data, or consortium entities
For XLS format, detail report, consultant data, and consortium entities are in different tabs in the same workbook

“Current” form type will include approved corrections and RFP documents posted after the form was certified
Export results as HTML, XLS, or CSV
HTML shows up at bottom of page
XLS and CSV show up as separate files with three tabs

Separate tools to:
View/Download FCC Forms 471 (FY2016 and later funding years), single form for FY and earlier funding years
View and download the status of forms from FY2015 and earlier funding years
Limit search funding year, state, and version (Original or Current)
Results returned in XLS format with seven tabs
Form number in Basic Information tab links to PDF version of form

The tool is organized by Congressional District
Commitments that have not been through a PIA wave (e.g., the new FRN created when the old one is split) will not show up in this tool. However, changes to the commitment amounts post- commitment will show up in this tool.

National-level statistics for that funding year – quick facts, analysis by applicant type, analysis by service type and discount band
Total funding for each state in that wave along with name, address, service type, discount %, committed amount
