2 What is KAMSA of GA? KAMSA of GA was founded in August 2015 to create a community and network among Korean American medical students in the state of GA. Through socials, outreach events and networking events with physicians, KAMSA of GA seeks to provide a platform for medical students to connect and work together to support the Korean-American community in Georgia. Networking with physicians, medical faculty and medical students both in GA via: Mentorship program Outreach events Joint meetings and conferences with the Korean Medical Association of GA (KMA of GA) and the Korean American Medical Association (KAMA). 4 1st General Meeting The first meeting of KAMSA of GA was at the Medical College of Georgia in August Dr. Brice Choi, Chairman of the board of KAMA, and Dr. Sean Koh, President of KMA of GA, came to speak to the students about building a network among physicians and medical students. Dr. Brice Choi gave a presentation on the KAMA US Conference in Seoul.

KAMSA of GA members had the opportunity to meet physicians of the Korean Medical Association of Georgia (KMA of GA) at the fall KMA of GA meeting.

7 Networking with physicians
The KAMSA of GA medical students joined physicians and their families at the annual KMA of GA Christmas party. Two medical students, Sunny Shin (M1, MCG) and Elizabeth Ahn (M3, MCG), were awarded the KMA of GA scholarship at the meeting.

KMA of GA awarded two KAMSA of GA students a $1,000 scholarship based on a personal essay reviewed by Dr. Brice Choi (Chairman of the board of KAMA), Dr. Sean Koh (President of KMA of GA) and Dr. Kelly Ahn (Mentorship Chair of KMA of GA.) 10 Medical Outreach Meetings with GMMA
In December 2015, KAMSA of GA members attended the Global Medical Missions Alliance seminar in Atlanta, GA. It was a big inspiration to hear Dr. Peter Chung's (President of GMMA) medical mission work and global outreach through GMMA. KAMSA of GA medical students also attended the start- up meetings of GMMA chapters at Georgia Tech and Emory.

11 Forum for pre-medical students
On January 16, 2016, KAMSA of GA medical students and physicians of KMA of GA hosted a presentation and Q&A about applying to medical school, life in medical school and life as a physician. We had 10 KAMSA of GA medical students and physicians: Dr. Brice Choi (Chairman of the board of KAMA), Dr. Sean Koh (KMA of GA President), Dr. Kelly Ahn (mentorship chair), and Dr. Song Na (Internal Medicine). We had about 50 attendees from high school to college pre-medical students.

13 Volunteering On April 2, KAMSA of GA medical students volunteered at the Wheat Ministry of Atlanta, a center for handicapped patients in the Atlanta Korean-American community.
