Reflecting upon our time!
“I truly feel like I educated myself about politics and what is really going at this point in life. Besides what we read on paper, or see on social media we had the opportunity to educate others. I knew I was a democrat before I entered this class, but now support the Green party. I lastly learned that people will believe anything they hear without really looking into the matter Ultimately great experience and great time to be alive.” - Melissa “Being in the project has taught me the importance of researching politics for yourself. Society is heavily influenced by the media and it’s important to have a stance on the issues for yourself before listening to what you see on TV.” - Genelle “This project has allowed me to be more aware of politics and the presidential election process. Through this, I was able to follow the candidates and learn about their policies. Spreading awareness and educating others about politics is very important as it has a direct impact on all our lives.” - Margaret “By being a part of this project, I allowed myself to be able to educate myself on politics which I had never really done before this class. This class allowed my to expand my knowledge and allowed me to be able to learn that you have to really go find things out for yourself and cannot always go off of what others tell you.” - Shannon “From this class, I learned that becoming more educated on political matters can shape our own world view for the better. Being informed and willing to inform others can make a difference in our perceptions of not only our own moral code, but also in how we develop our role as active members in any given community. I now feel that I can form my own opinions on political matters that they are substantiated.” - Diana
