During this discussion, I would like to describe the new Xi4 product and review the new features and benefits of the product. I will also discuss the Xi4 pricing.
I would then like to spend some time discussing the various applications for the Xi4, the Sales & Marketing tools that are available for our PartnersFirst partners, and then finish will some selling tips and techniques.

The Xi product line is well known in the market for it’s reliability, ruggedness, durability, and high print quality. This has allowed Zebra to achieve significant success in those markets where customers demand 24 x 7 uptime, mission-critical reliability, and specialty labeling applications.
The Xi4 is not necessarily a “new” product as it is built on the successful Xi series product platform.
The Xi4 has retained the high quality traits of the Xi family (such as ruggedness, durability, high-quality print, long-life, and other traits) and we’ve built on that platform by adding many new features…….which will discuss shortly.

The Xi4, like the previous generation Xi products, are designed to withstand harsh environments through its rugged and durable construction.
In addition, the Xi is built to work in mission critical, 24 x 7, and specialty labeling applications.
As all Xi products, the Xi4 produces high-quality labels.
Lastly, the Xi product line is well-known in the market and the Xi4 is built on this heritage.

At 14ips on the 110Xi4 and the 140Xi4, Zebra printers are the fastest in the market and offers the exceptional print quality that the Xi line has demonstrated flawlessly for years and years. We offer a range of speeds highlighted in this slide that surpass the XiIII+ on the 110Xi4 and the 140Xi4 leading to the highest speed of 14 ips on both models. Zebra customers can select a range of print speeds based upon their application needs, not just the max 14 ips.

The Xi4 offers a new LCD display with optional customizable content. That is unique to the Xi4.

9. New Key Features - Firmware
WML - Enables creation of customized front panel (LCD) menus
Show only what the user wants
Create multiple “profiles” on the printer
Print user-defined files from the menu
The WML technology allows customers to create custom content to so that users only see information on the LCD that’s relevant to that user’s job function or printer application.
Printers can maintain multiple profiles for multiple users.
The slide shows a few examples of some screens that have been customized via WML.

Centrally manage and monitor deployment of Zebra printers
Centrally configure and maintain Zebra printers through remote updates
Remotely monitor printer updates – via “Feedback” feature
Another new feature that’s available on the Xi4 is the “Mirror” capability. This allows customers to:
1. Remotely & centrally manage the configuration of printers
2. Automatically configure printers (based on settings)
3. Log Mirror outcomes via Feedback (at the FTP server)
Assign printers from one role to another
Details regarding operation:
1. FTP server is populated w/ Mirror directories & files
2. Printer is configured with FTP server address & login
3. Printer connects to FTP server at power-up
4. Printer "pulls" files from FTP server directories
5. Printer sends "Feedback" responses to FTP server
6. During Mirror, printer is unavailable for other tasks

RFID-ready (standard) for 110Xi4
Ribbon and Media Sensor Low—Feature that automatically calculates ribbon and media remaining and provides a “Low” alert when approximately 45 meters remain. Requires running the ribbon and media for 10 meters to calculate remaining media and ribbon left (in cases where jobs are stopped and started, changed, or when the printhead is opened). User no longer needs to go through a manual process via the control panel.
RFID ready is now standard on 110Xi4 only; no option available on 170 Xi4 as was available on the 170 XiIII+
Element out detection –tells user that elements are out on the printhead that may compromise the quality of the label production
