2 Estimating 1100 adults with Cerebral Palsy in Lanarkshire 260 within LD service unidentified In 2014, there were 16 known to AHP service Orthotic services may have more but not identified as CP

3 Following queries from 2 sets of parents, equality of access to services was investigated. Identified confusion for clients and healthcare staff

Checking which team plus medical cover for adults Identified as TRAC. Advice given re specialist medical route if required. Letter to client confirming details 60 Stroke Communication issues affecting orthotic management Orthotics directed to SLT SLT advised Communication book being set up to aid patient July 16 48 Neuropathy Airdrie Query re physio input required and who to request assessment from PT advised PT assessment appropriate and directed to Coathill neuro OPTs 23 Cerebral Palsy Cumb Query re ortho/orthotic referral Orthotics advised referral to foot & ankle clinic Bellshill School leaver asking re adult PT service Identified as neuro OPT, MHC. Referral to adult PT. Letter to client confirming details. Aug No clients
