37 Acknowledgements The script for this Jeparit – Menzies history was developed by Jeanie Clark for use by the Jeparit Primary School y2-6 class for the Menzies Square Opening on 16 December The section ‘Life after Jeparit’ was prepared for, but not presented on this day. It is included here for completeness of the Menzies history. This history has drawn greatly on the Menzies Virtual Museum for its detailed resource and photographs. Photos of the school at the Opening were taken by Maree Livingston. The final quote about doing one’s best comes from a Radio National transcript of quotes of Sir Robert Menzies in “Australia Forums: the legacy of Sir Robert Menzies“, aired on the 26 January The quote was not dated. This can be found at (This quote has also been used in the Jeparit town brochure. ) The children presenters are: Y 6 – Dylan, Haylee, and Skyeanne Y5 – Chloe and Monique Y4 – Chelby Y2 – Serah Teacher- Jeanie Clark
