Results: Tested WW: tannery, fish ponds, cheese whey
Tannery: D. salina on 10% (sterilised WW - not applicable)  reality salinity will be too low, mixed consortium of self selected algae expected
Algen salinity tests for existing & marine & saltpan species
Fishpond: Spirulina and Chlorella low nutrients in WW; how will be solved?
Whey WW (original WW from Silvio or not?): Tetraselmis suecica on 5% WW, WW inhibitory for Spirulina and Chlorella
Study of microbial community: dominant algal and bacterial species and their associations; primers designed for quantification of algal-bacterial ratio in demos-done
Pending tasks: MS1 to be submitted (reviewed by CO and TM)

3. WP2: Valorisation of Sludge
M2 - Design and dimensioning of process for Primary Treatment and pre-treatment (i.e. DAF) (BBA M12): done for all demo sites
M3 – Anaerobic Digestion processes and CO2 recovery optimised at lab scale (NOVA M18): in progress!
Pending:
supply of equipment to demo sites – Who, Where, What – WG discussion!
AD trials for methanogenic phase – results needed for further work and construction
salinity levels (needed for AD reactors construction, DCU needs it)

4. WP3: Valoristaion of HRAP effluents
M4 – Selection of pre-treatment strategy; Relevance of ED on each studied sample assessed; New pump and ERD tested in lab environment (iBET M16)
Pending / deviations:
ED tested on WW from Arava and KOTO at lab scale, will not be implemented (no budget, not feasible) - report to PO? (EXT, BBA no budget for ED
EXT does ED lab scale tests: delivery of WW (done? Costs!) few m3 of pretreated WW delivered to who/when?? WG discussion!
Pump tests needed on demo sites: transfer of PM / hours from WP3 to WP6?
Delay in supply of pumping station – BBA
BBA has no budget for pretreatment and RO (who delivers and pays for demos?) + pumps – does DCU supply? WG discussion!
Only RO at ARV and kOTO (really both?)

5. WP4: Valorisation of algae biomass
Objectives: optimisation of harvesting, biomass refinements, develope and demonstrate animal feed, coatings and adhesives, 3D printing

Produmix new numbers and proposed changes (no need for PO approval probably):
testing for fish meal and antimicrobial activity (instead of soya replacement and omega 3);
partners need to send algae (200g dry sample);
NEW CALCULATIONS-is this acceptable/feasible for partners to provide? Fish meal: 76,5kg needed, AB: 64,6 kg algae needed (141 kg total, previously: 533 kg)
Archimede sent 150kg of algae for tests;
Coatings: what has been done?
3D printing, progress?
