The Sisters of the Presentation of Mary were founded when: Marie Rivier and her first companions consecrated themselves to God on November 21, 1796

diocese of Viviers, France
A New Mother House was Purchased in Bourg St Andeol: 1819
Death of Marie Rivier: On February 3, 1838 Marie Rivier went home to God. She left behind 300 sisters working in 141 schools.
Beatification of Marie Rivier: May 23, 1982
Today: There are over 1200 Sisters of the Presentation of Mary living in 19 countries throughout the world.
