Before Reading – 5 Word Prediction
Use the following five words to predict the topic of the poem. Underline the words as you use them in your prediction. Roads Woods Travel Equally Difference

“The Road Not Taken” – During Read, Draw, Talk, Write
Fold your paper to create four numbered sections. Read a stanza of the poem. In one section draw a small picture of the image created in your mind. (not over ½ of the section) Talk to your partner about your image. Inside the section, write a short summary of the chunk. Continue until you have read the entire poem.
