AndersonAquatics recommend bi-weekly or monthly maintenance visits on a contractual basis to best ensure that your tank remains healthy and visually attractive. Contractual visits are both cost effective and allow for early recognition of any health issues.
Ad Hoc visits are also catered for, particularly in cases where disease is evident or when you require a consultation on the sourcing of livestock and equipment.

I have over 10 years of extensive experience and knowledge in ornamental fish keeping for marine and freshwater species, with specialised interest in marine corals and in particular SPS corals. I studied at Stellenbosch University for a diploma in Aquaculture and have diverse work experience across all aspects of the industry.

Fresh Water Tank Maintenance
Changing of water. Percentage determined by sequence of servicing. Water replaced with R/O (reverse osmosis) water.
Test water for specific elements
Clean (algae) interior of the tank
Clean exterior of the tank
Clean essential equipment
Install any equipment and livestock ordered.
Discuss any livestock or equipment requirements
A minimum of one appointment per month is recommended. Ad Hoc and contractual pricing on application.
Marine Tanks Maintenance
Changing of water. Percentage determined by sequence of servicing. Water replaced with R/O (reverse osmosis) water mixed with marine salt
Check and modify salinity if required
Clean substrate
A minimum of two appointments per month is recommended. Ad Hoc and contractual pricing on application.
