Lab Work and general rules of classroom
Length of lab depended on the material. Lab during the second half of each class. Buy the manual and bring it to class. Record your observations, draw brief sketches of slides showing your observations clearly and labeling them neatly. Pencil for sketches and pen for writing. Pen only for tests. Submit only the relevant pages of the manual for correction and grading. The information at the beginning of each exercise is for your benefit and knowledge only. Clean up before leaving room. If group work, then work together but submit reports individually. Plagiarism will not be permitted. Even if you work in groups, you should still answer questions in your own words. Identical work will automatically be scored out. If there is a question bank in the manual, write the answers clearly and concisely and submit. Assignments and lab reports due at the next meeting. Points taken off for late submission. Miss test or assignment or lab work, no make up unless sickness or death in immediate family. If you need additional tutorial, we’ll set up a time after class. Cleanliness, punctuality and promptness appreciated. No test review. The publisher’s site online carries ample student study resources. Utilize them. Questions may be based on the Practice quizzes that you can access online. Appreciate courteous behavior in class. Temper-tantrums, answering back and rudeness will not be permitted. Turn off all handheld gadgets befor coming to class. If I catch you talking, texting, twittering or surfing online in class, I DO NOT want you in my class.
