– Separated out from Accounts Receivable from Dynamics AX 2012

3 Setup Collection Letters
–Form Notes –Click New to create and you can select Customer Collection letter 1-5. –You can then add text to this collection letter.

4 Collection Letter Sequence
– Collection Letter Sequences –You can create a sequence by adding which collection letters to the sequence before the collection notice occurs. –Have the option whether or not to add a fee with the collection letter.

5 Collection Letter Sequence (Cont.)
–Assigning the Collection Letter Sequence – Entered on the Customer Posting Profile. – You can use a different Collection Letter Sequence for All, Group, or Table for a posting profile.

6 Process Collection Letters
– Create Collection Letters – Select which collection letter you would like to process, the date of the collection letter, the posting profile from (account, select), and which posting Profile. – Parameters to include are Invoice, credit Note, Payment, Interest. – You can select specific customer accounts to include by applying a filter. - Batch processing available.

7 Process Collection Letters (Cont.)
– Review and Process Collection Letters form – Review collection letters that are generated here. – You can post or cancel the letter – You can view the voucher if you have fees associated

8 Process Collection Letters (Cont.)
– Collection Letter Journal –Record of the voucher, the total and if there is a fee that is created from the Collection Letters Form.
