To God? Did God Have Leaders in the Patriarchal Time? FATHERS God Expected Them to Lead and Teach Their Families in the Way of the Lord.

6 The Mosaic Period God Created Several Positions of Leadership.
Fathers Were Still to Lead Their Families (Dt. 6) Moses Became Israel’s Deliverer and Leader. Ex. 3:16-18 = Israel Had 70 Elders (Ex. 24:1). Ex. 16:22 = Leaders Are Mentioned, However, Where are They in Ex. 18? Ex. 18 = Jethro Advises Moses to Get Some Help. Leaders of 1,000’s, 100’s, 50’s, and 10’s are appointed.

What About a King? God Was Their King Until the Days of Samuel.
