1 Galactic Starveyors Colossians 1:15-16

2 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” Colossians 1:15-16

3 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
The God who created everything wants a relationship with us. God created it all and yet we are the crown of His creation; created in His image. Genesis 1:26-31 So, don’t ever think that you are nothing.

4 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
Sin messed everything up, but God is still in control. Pollution ruins things For a period of time this universe was perfect. Until the pollution of sin entered into it. Satan casts the doubt, then he lies and then he deceives by blurring the lines between what is good and what is evil. Sin brings shame, excuses & consequences

5 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
Sin messed everything up, but God is still in control. We live in a polluted world now. But man is not inherently evil. Sin is not something that is passed on. We live under the curse of death, but sin is something we do. We become polluted in our minds.

6 “Sin will take you further than you want to go
“Sin will take you further than you want to go. Keep you longer than you want to stay. Cost you more than you want to pay. And promises more than it could ever give.”

7 “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15

8 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
God sent His Son, Jesus, to be the Savior of the world. God had promised a savior. He had a plan before the world began as to how He would reconcile his creation back to him. Ephesians 1:3-10 Jesus came into this world according to God’s prophecies.

9 “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.” Isaiah 7:14

10 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
Jesus gave His life to be the savior of mankind. At the culmination of God’s plan to bring salvation to His creation a miraculous astronomical event took place. During the crucifixion of Christ. From noon to 3pm there was total darkness upon the earth. This was not an eclipse or a cloud or storm rolling in.

11 “”He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth
“”He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.” I Peter 2:22-24

12 Looking at the visible to discover the invisible!
Even though we mess up, God still loves us and will never leave us, if we repent. We will never be perfect. Jesus should pull on our hearts. Because of what God has done for us we should be pulled to live for Him daily. And our love for Him should compel us to repent. Romans 3:23 Jesus is a forgiving God.

13 “And he is the head of the body, the church;”
Maintaining a harmonious relationship with God is accomplished by being an active part of His body (church) and fulfilling His will. “And he is the head of the body, the church;” Colossian 1:18a Salvation is the gift of God

14 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:8-10
