8 Central Pilot Effort to move towards more inclusive programs for students with mild disabilities in the central region Students in SCA at DOES were offered the option to go back to the student’s neighborhood school with increase supports available (ODES, OES, LMES, COES, and PVES) Each participating school is receiving: Collaborative Teaching Training in the summer Onsite support to schedule SWDs Ongoing coaching, training, and follow up support on-site for the school year

Provided 1:1 iPads for all self-contained Florida Standards ESE classrooms Provided 4 sessions of training to the teachers Developed training and provided coaching for these teachers to move towards a “Learner Active Classroom” where students have increasing responsibility for their learning and engagement

14 Virtual Learning for HHB
Moving the group of students who traditionally participated in Teleclass to a virtual platform for instruction Teleclass teachers will serve of teachers of record for core content areas HHB program will receive supports from the HHB VE and HHB CRT to increase compliance and monitor students’ needs Supports will be added for students with learning difficulties through the HHB VE teacher or itinerant teachers for organization and work completion skills if the need is justified by data Elementary, access points, and intermittent student will continue to be served with itinerant teachers

Each program area will develop program guidelines Serves as an indicator of expectations for supports in the program Will provide information regarding research-based methodologies to support students with disabilities

19 School BPIE In accordance with statue, each school will be complete the School Best Practices for Inclusive Education Our goal is that schools will use this information in the SIP planning process to increase access to general education for students with disabilities

20 Mental Health Supports for Social Behavior Programs
Increased mental health supports for students in SBP classrooms School are assigned a portion of a dedicated social worker to provide counseling and wrap-around supports to the students
