35 Meeting A Need Sustainability Leadership Realistic
Does the project fill a gap in the marketplace? Is there justification for expansion supported by data. Sustainability Will it require additional operational expenses? Are they budgeted? Is ongoing maintenance planned for? Leadership Staff and board have a proven track record? Does the project appropriately plan for future needs? Realistic Is the budget appropriate for the project? Are there a diverse group of funders?

37 Proposal Review Site Visit Track Record Follow Up Well written.
Documentation of need. Data are current. Best practices cited if appropriate. Site Visit Participants are engaged. Demand for space is clear Staff (and/or board) are knowledgeable. Track Record Prior programs/projects successfully completed. If success has not been achieved, clear direction on change, or lessons learned, are articulated. Follow Up Staff are responsive to need for additional info. Significant project updates are shared in a timely way.
