2. Sato High School Description
The SATO Academy of Mathematics and Science is a comprehensive four-year high school located near the campus of California State University, Long Beach. Sato’s mission is to increase the nation’s pool of college graduates in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and Math by offering an intensive college-preparatory education to motivated high school students.

LBUSD students actually need only one year of university level language to satisfy graduation requirements. This may influence enrollment in second year courses.
CSULB is in the process of creating a Chinese language certificate program through the university extension which will be available to these students.
