Salvation through Christ

STORY TIME!! Many years ago, people were sold in the markets as items that other people bought. This was called SLAVE TRADE. This Photo by Unknown Author is licensed under CC BY-SA

STORY TIME!! Slaves (men, women and children) were CHAINED together and displayed in the open market for rich men to buy. The buyers would come, look at the slaves and choose the ones they wanted. STORY TIME!! The money paid is the price for their freedom.

When Adam and Eve sinned against God, people became Slaves to Satan.

God loves us so much! John 3:16
Jesus came to save us from the slave market of Satan and sin. The price paid for our salvation is the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross.

Why did Jesus come to save us?

salvation is total, complete and free
You do not need holy water, incense, fasting, going to the mountain or visiting any prophet. All you need to do is: 1. Realize that you are a sinner. 2. Turn (repent) from all your sins. 3. Confess by telling Jesus your sins. 4. Ask God to forgive you. 4. Invite Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior. 5. Thank Jesus. LESSON: Jesus has paid the price for our salvation. THOUGHT: I surrender my heart to Jesus so as to enjoy the benefits of His sacrifice.
