2. MEMORY VERSE
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.

3. STORY TIME!!
Many years ago, people were sold in the markets as items that other people bought.
This was called SLAVE TRADE.

4. STORY TIME!!
Slaves (men, women and children) were CHAINED together and displayed in the open market for rich men to buy.
The buyers would come, look at the slaves and choose the ones they wanted.
They would then pay the price for the slaves they had chosen.

5. STORY TIME!! The money paid is the price for their freedom.
Any slave whose price has been paid would be loosed from the chain.
He would then become free to follow the new master to start a new life.

6. When Adam and Eve sinned against God, people became Slaves to Satan.

7. God loves us so much! John 3:16
Jesus came to save us from the slave market of Satan and sin.
The price paid for our salvation is the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross.

8. Why did Jesus come to save us?
1. To make us become children of God
2. To deliver us from Satan and sin
3. Remove us from the kingdom of darkness
4. To forgive all our sins and prepare us for Heaven

9. salvation is total, complete and free
You do not need holy water, incense, fasting, going to the mountain or visiting any prophet.
All you need to do is:
1. Realize that you are a sinner.
2. Turn (repent) from all your sins.
3. Confess by telling Jesus your sins.
4. Ask God to forgive you.
4. Invite Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior.
5. Thank Jesus.

10. LESSON:
Jesus has paid the price for our salvation.
THOUGHT:
I surrender my heart to Jesus so as to enjoy the benefits of His sacrifice.

2. Who held people in the slavery of sin?
3. Who came to redeem all boys and girls from the slavery of Satan?
4. How can a child in bondage of sin and Satan be set free?

12. ACTIVITY
With the help of the teacher, children should mention the blessings they will enjoy when they become friends of Jesus.
HOMEWORK
Write down what Jesus did to set us free from Satan’s bondage. Show your teacher next Sunday.
