Subsidized Loans – Interest is paid by the Federal Government while you are in school at least half time.
Unsubsidized Loans – Interest accrues from day 1.

23. Financial Aid Eligible Courses
The Financial Aid Office reviews your program of study and course applicability.  Students will be ineligible for financial aid for any courses they are enrolled in that are not required to complete their program of study.
