5 AzEDS recent fixes Reports Integrity Rules
Drop Out Recovery Report (DRP10) fix – extra blank pages removed TRANS15 report – added DRP transactions for verification SPED72 – Schools were not correct in selection list (did not impact any access to student data, just extra schools that should not be there) Integrity Rules 10064 checking for grade changes greater then one grade changed to Informational vs Failure 40065 – rule was not checking private placement need and erroneously failing Aggregation (ADM Calculation Engine – ACE) ADM calculation for AOI students updated

6 AzEDS known issues Integrity known issues:
SPED Rules – 40044, 40061, 40067, all fixed and ready to be released (holding a couple days to ensure Data Push for February is complete first) Drop Out Recovery rule – 80028, some are students are failing even with correct data Membership Rule – 10081, students who re-enroll in same school A handful of students are impacted by bugs with following rules – 10120, 20017 ADM Interval issue for students having gaps between enrollment dates (QA started; target early March) SPED72 – display issue, additional incorrect schools displaying in drop down

7 New enhancements and reports
AzEDS Student Analysis Tool - Phase I released!!!!! A user who normally runs the STUD15 or the STUD10 for Student School Enrollment, FTE, Tuition Payer and Special Enrollment information and the ELL10, SPED10, SUP10 and SUPP11 while analyzing data for a single student can use this tool to see all the current data for these different areas in a single screen. Still to come in future releases – Integrity Tab, ADM Tab, transactions posted by resource type and more … Reports New ELL Program Participation Report (ELL71) Upcoming change – sort by Grade (working to get into an upcoming release)

8 Upcoming enhancements
AzEDS Platform API 3.0 (going live 7/1) – EdFi 2.1 and Link Membership to DOR; Calendar impacted due to EdFi but will not replace Enterprise for FY18 (current method of adding calendars) New Azure database hardware and Azure model Tools NEW Split Tool (Early April) Enhancements to Student Analysis Tool (Early April - Phase 2) Integrity Rules New! Support Program Rules (Mid Feb) New! Accountability Non-Payment Rule to check for race (very important for State reporting) Enhance – Attendance outside of enrollment – do not fail where attendance is + 10 consecutive days after withdrawal date New! Accountability Non-Payment Rules (Early April) NEW Gold Canyon Diploma (GCD) Rules/Reports/Calculation

Report Performance Hardware – February Split Reports into two categories – approach varies by type of report Non real-time reports– separate and index (Mar/Apr) Real-time/verification reports – performance tune by report - starting with STUD10 (Mar/Apr) Enhance ELL Program Participation Report (ELL71) Upcoming change – sort by Grade NEW - Limited ADM Summary Report NEW – Concurrency – either separate Report or included in Limited ADM EX-1 (Target by June) OCT1 FED SPED - Enhance to better support LEA needs; 2/24 filter out younger than 3 older than 21 Analyzing all enhancement requests received on Reports to try to complete some in Q4

17 Accessing the portal Service Manager authenticates users based on ADEConnect accounts. Anyone with an ADEConnect account can access the portal There is no associated role within ADEConnect to use the portal It authenticates security based on the user’s address and password associated to the ADEConnect account

Self-registration method Easily create a Self-Registration account using the Event Management System Also provides info on classes and seminars offered by ADE Entity Administrators method Entity Administrators (EA) can create an account on behalf of the requested user using the EA portal within ADEConnect EA needs the user’s first, last and address No need to assign a relationship to an LEA/school or role
