She was an elderly and respected member of the Salem community
She was an elderly and respected member of the Salem community. She was a nurse, so she lived pretty well. Rebecca was considered as a middle class person in Salem.

How old? Rebecca Nurse was 71 years old during the trials she faced.

Married or Single? Rebecca was married to a man named Francis Nurse.
Her husband seems to have been highly respected by his neighbors, and more often than anyone else was called in to settle disputes.

Gossip in Salem Rebecca was innocent at first in her case until the judge told the jury to re-examine the evidence. After the second examination, she was found guilty for her evidence and her failure to respond to questions from her poor hearing.

Reputation Rebecca was a good, prudent, and respected woman in Salem.

Hardships Rebecca Nurse had a major hearing problem where she struggled to consistently hear them. Which soon was a problem in the trial.

As said earlier, Rebecca was a well-liked person in the community. However, Rebecca and her family were excommunicated from Salem for a short time.

Do We Like Our Character?
Yes we do, She was a nice Christian lady and was convicted because of her inability to hear the questions asked to conclude whether or not she was a witch. Many People petitioned for her innocence but was of no use do to her hearing problem

Other Info 2 of her sisters Sarah Cloyce and Mary Easty, were also accused of witchcraft. Mary was killed due to her suspicion of witchcraft. Sarah was only jailed for 1 year before she was freed.
