4 Crowdfunding What is it? What are the advantages for donors?
The basic practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. In 2015, an estimated $34 Billion was raised through crowdfunding. What are the advantages for donors? May get to be involved in a launch of a new project. Improving quality of life for community members.

6 Crowd Funding Adopt a classroom is a site that the teacher sets up an account with classroom funding needs and corporate donors can help cover the costs. Many larger dollar projects are being funded through this site. *Teespring is a website that allows you design tee-shirts, mugs, other items and anyone can purchase those items and the proceeds then come back to your classroom **Gofundme - education based category to help fund classroom needs (this has quite a bit of overhead costs!) **Patreon - a website that allows you to collect monthly donations for projects. You can make the site public or private meaning that your members may be exclusive viewers or get extra benefits for being a member

Create a list of businesses and individuals that may be related to your content/class. Watch the news! Ask for those that are in decision making roles when making contact. Know what you want. Hats/shirt/aprons Pens/Pencils Human Resources Money
