Programming examples Second Opinion is a medical opinion provided by a second physician or medical expert, when one physician provides a diagnosis or recommends surgery. Care management is a collaborative process of assessment and ongoing care to support the customer and their family from start to finish to promote quality and cost-effective outcomes. 10% cases resulted in a major change in diagnosis. Another 15% resulted in a minor change of diagnosis. 25% reduction in cost of these cases.
