5. ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR MALAYSIA [PERSATUAN SISTEM MAKLUMAT MALAYSIA (PSMM/MYAIS)]
Registered under the Malaysian Societies Act 1966 on 7th October 2014
Objectives:
To create and organize studies, working papers, review or research on aspects relevant to the information systems profession
To Increase the level of professionalism among members
To produce and disseminate information regarding the issues within this profession
To cooperate with the government and its agencies in implementing national policies, particularly involving information
Majority of the committee members are the committee members of AIS Malaysia Chapter (MyAIS)
Appointment of representatives from each state in Malaysia
