Experienced Lighting Innovator Universal knows lighting. We’ve been in the lighting industry for a long time (70+ years). We know the market, and with LED, we are pushing our technologies even further to offer you the best performance so you can deliver our products to your customers with confidence. For decades, Universal has been involved in developing ballasts for fluorescent and HID light sources, so when the new light source (LED) came along we were ready to develop power conversion products specific for this new light source. Universal was purchased by Panasonic in Panasonic has helped us by infusing their development process of creating great products through our engineering and quality systems. Global Panasonic Network

Quality & Reliability Universal takes the choice of LED very seriously by incorporating our OEM customer road maps into product development so we can make the right choice of LED for the specific application. Driver design is not simple and it is not standardized. A Driver is an electronic power supply and we have been in lighting controls for a long time. Universal has a battery of tests to make sure the driver works for the application. The process starts with design validation, followed by all safety compliance checks, and then we perform reliability tests including accelerated life testing to make sure warranty is met and that the product is reliable for your end application.

Engineering Expertise Thermal management is a critical part of ensuring a long lifespan for LEDs. Our advanced thermodynamic designs ensure maximum thermal protection. The result is better efficiency and superior lumen maintenance. To ensure that electronic components function safely, it is important to observe their maximum thermal loads. Good air circulation can improve thermal behavior and positively influence the driver's service life. Universal designs the driver and module as a matched system, from the electrical end to output, to ensure it is exactly what’s needed for the market. Universal tests inside fixtures to ensure it works properly -- thermal, electrical, and even photometric validation testing.

EVERLINE Drivers for Indoor / Outdoor Applications
The 150W Drivers in universal ( VAC) and high voltage ( VAC) input is available for indoor and outdoor applications. These drivers provide 6kV surge protection (use the EVERLINE surge protectors for up to 20kV protection), 0-10 volt dimming, tunable outputs, over voltage, overload and short circuit, over temperature protection, while being UL recognized and HL rated. 150W Drivers are a good solution for watt Class 1 applications. The 100W Driver is available for high wattage in Class 2 constant voltage and constant current limiting; which provides flexibility for either a 24 volt constant voltage application or a LED Module configuration operating with 4.1 Amps between 15 volt and 23 volt. This driver is available in volt dimming and non-dimming. The 90W Driver is available for pairing with high lumen modules. This driver provides 2.3 amps at 40 volts. This driver is tunable and is available in universal ( VAC) and high voltage ( VAC) for indoor and outdoor applications.

EVERLINE Drivers for Indoor & VT Fixtures
Class 2 UNV Linear Drivers & 347V Drivers with Tunable Constant Power Output – The TZ and TW linear / compact products provide tunable current with or without constant power. These families are in the standard C-can, D-can, L-can, and K-can which will provide the flexibility you need in your application from a mechanical and electrical stand point. EVERLINE tunable linear drivers are ideal for 30W, 55W and 80W general lighting applications with a variety of module styles and configurations. EVERLINE Compact Drivers are designed for track and down light applications where the rectangular shape is required and feature multi-lead exit configurations. Their small size also makes a good fit for specialty fixture applications. Both styles (compact and linear) feature a 1.0” height making them easy to fit anywhere. The ID Series of LED drivers are designed for indoor linear lighting applications. The drivers will be available to provide either 12Vdc or 24Vdc auxiliary output power to eliminate the need for a separate power supply for sensors. The drivers can be programmed via a wired connection or wirelessly through near field communication (NFC).
12
EVERLINE Modules Linear LED Modules: Changing energy standards and regulations can certainly make life difficult. Universal can make the process easier with our extensive family of modules which help you meet or exceed the standard. EVERLINE linear modules give designers flexibility while removing regulation complications. Zhaga Linear Modules and Low Density Linear Modules provide high efficiency solutions for general purpose LED applications. Zhaga-Hybrid Linear Modules are ideal for use in 2-foot, 4-foot, and linear strip luminaires. These modules feature high CRI, are used in Class 2 lighting systems and have a Zhaga-Hybrid mounting pattern. EVERLINE single and dual row High Output Linear LED Modules are designed for high efficacy lighting in high bay luminaires. EVERLINE LED Square and Rectangular modules are ideal for Canopy fixtures, outdoor wall-packs, and other fixtures requiring high lumens from a compact area.
13
SURGE PROTECTORS EVERLINE Surge Protectors are capable of managing a surge of up to 20kV. Inserted between line voltage and the driver, the EVERLINE Surge Protectors provide system-wide protection, eliminating the need for internal fixture components rated to extreme voltages. 10kV/kA and 20kV/kA models. 277V and 480V line voltage. Available with a threaded J-Box Mount. Protection for Line-Neutral, Line- Ground, and Neutral- Ground connections. EVERLINE Surge Protectors are the perfect accessory for 150W Drivers.
