This year, we welcome 11,537 new Sun Devils to our university. This is the largest and most diverse freshman class in ASU history.

4. We “owned” Arizona
In fulfillment of our public mission to serve families of Arizona, 7,009 Arizona freshmen have joined us at our campuses, centers and locations – our largest Arizona class in history.

Growth in diversity
Our efforts to educate a population of students that match the demographic makeup of our community continues to improve. This year, we welcome the most diverse class in the history of the university.
This percentage reflects the entire domestic (in- and out-of-state) freshman class.

7. New Master’s Enrollment
+9.3%
New Master’s enrollment grew from 3,259 to 3,563 from Fall 2015 to Fall 2016.

New international master’s students grew from 1,108 to 1,326 from Fall 2015 to Fall 2016.

New out-of-state master’s students grew from 633 to 702 from Fall 2015 to Fall 2016.
