6. COURSE GUIDELINES COURSE REQUIREMENTS
REGULAR ATTENDANCE is obligatory (70% of classes)
active CLASS PARTICIPATION
CONTRIBUTION TO CLASS WORK (home assignments, research, project work, studying)
passing the PROGRESS TESTS (2 written tests)
WRITTEN REPORT on a selected task
performance in a ROLE-PLAYED MEETING – team work
passing the FINAL ORAL EXAM (ability to clearly and coherently discuss business topics covered by the course using the RELEVANT BUSINESS ENGLISH VOCABULARY, as well as express a viewpoint on a topical issue (advantages/ disadvantages, agreeing/disagreeing)

7. GRADING CRITERIA The FINAL GRADE consists of:
WRITTEN TEST (two PROGRESS TESTS or one FINAL TEST) – 30%
performance in a ROLE-PLAYED MEETING – 15%
written REPORT on a selected task – 15%
ORAL EXAM – 20%
CLASS PARTICIPATION and HOME ASSIGNMENTS – 20%
