Facts and figures - the daily life of UHSM
We treat around 442,000 patients each year through Inpatients, A&E and Outpatients The UHSM switchboard receives around 6,000 calls every 24 hours - that is 2.2 million a year Around 5,500 people work for UHSM (including our partners) 500 people volunteer for UHSM helping patients with anything from directions to reading.
